Pauline Jennings:
Born and raised in Hawaii.
As a young child, Paulie took hula Beamer family. Hula master George Na`ope and Nona Beamer are her childhood friends. Master changer, John Lake is her cousin.

After graduating from the University of Hawaii, she studied in Paris and the University of Vienna. After completing her study, she worked as a freelance writer traveling around the world. "To my surprise, verywhere I go, " says Paulie "there were Hawaiians living all over the world. and hula was danced in little communities around them."  Her desire to provide a place to lern hula for those away from Hawaii started from this time.
